Campus Bike Storage Locations

While most residence halls do not have bike storage, the storage areas in those that do are available to be used by any student living in Columbia Housing on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bike Storage in the Residence Halls during the Academic Year

Columbia Housing bike storage areas may not be used for long-term storage. At the end of each academic year, all locks will be cut, and bikes removed. Learn more about our bike storage policy.

Campus Bike Racks

Bike racks are available to the Columbia community outside various residence halls and academic buildings. However, outside bike racks may not be used for long term storage.

Bicycles secured with locks to railings not intended for bike storage, stairwells, etc. will be secured by Public Safety with an additional lock requiring the owner to report to Public Safety to have the bike unlocked.

Please review the University Policy on Bike Storage for full details.
