Info on Sophomore Waitlist

Each year, those students who are unable to select during Room Selection are added to the sophomore waitlist. For sophomores, particularly those who draw higher lottery numbers, this process requires additional time managing inventory and finalizing assignments. All guaranteed students will receive an assignment, in some cases it requires additional time or a 'waitlist.'

We've added some FAQs to help provide additional clarity around the waitlist and what students on the list can expect in terms of receiving updates and their room assignment. Any questions left unanswered by the FAQs can be directed to housing@columbia.edu.

The notification process to students who have applied for Summer Housing is in progress. If you will be living on campus for Summer A or the Full Summer (Summer A + B) here are the details you'll need to know.
