Health & Safety Inspection Schedule
- John Jay: December 1, 10:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m.
- East Campus Highrise: December 2, 10:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m.
- East Campus Townhouses: December 3, 1:00 p.m.—4:00 p.m.
- Hartley: December 8, 11:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m.
- Wallach: December 9, 1:00 p.m.—3:30 p.m.
- Wien: December 10, 1:00 p.m.—3:30 p.m.
Staff will enter your room/suite at some point during the specified timeframe to complete the inspection. To ensure your safety, staff will comply with all University requirements related to COVID-19, including wearing required PPE. The inspection should take no longer than five minutes.
As a reminder, you do not need to be present. If you are present during the inspection, staff will request that you wear a mask until the inspection is complete. During the visit, staff will visually inspect for prohibited items and confirm safety devices are in place. This includes verifying the presence of window guards on all windows within your room. Please fully raise your blinds prior to the inspection time to help expedite this process.
Shared living spaces (suite kitchens, living rooms, etc.) are the responsibility of all residents of that suite. Staff will also inspect these shared spaces. Residents are encouraged to work together with their suitemates to ensure shared spaces are clean and free of prohibited items.
If you are aware of a facilities issue within your room or suite (missing smoke detector, broken equipment, etc.), you are encouraged to submit a Service Request.
