As communicated by Columbia Health, students are required to be fully vaccinated (definition below) in order to come to campus for the Fall Term. Alternately students must apply for and receive approval to be exempted from the requirement based on a religious or medical need per the process communicated by their school or college.
- Students traveling to the University from outside the United States who will not be fully vaccinated upon arrival to campus for the Fall Term will be required to complete a 7-day, in-room quarantine upon arrival to campus.
- Please complete this form by July 23 to let Columbia Housing know whether you will need to quarantine upon arrival to campus.
DEFINITION OF FULL VACCINATION
Fully vaccinated individuals are those for whom it has been 14 days since their final injection of one of the COVID-19 vaccines currently authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration or by the World Health Organization (the number of injections required differs per vaccine).
More information regarding fall check-in, temporary quarantine and what to expect will be provided as it becomes available via email and on the Columbia Housing website.
