Individual Students

Please click on the summer session in which you are interested in the Periods and Rates section to apply. You are not guaranteed a room for the summer until your completed online application including full payment is submitted. Accepted payment methods include American Express, Visa, Mastercard, JCB, and Discover. Your credit card will be billed automatically upon application and confirmation. 

  • Interns must be no younger than 18 years of age.
  • Interns must be currently enrolled at a college or university and accepted at an internship or research institution in or near New York City.
  • Conference Housing reserves the right to reassign an assigned space for the purpose of construction, health, management, safety, or emergency.
  • We do not offer accommodations for families with children. Please refer to Off-Campus Accommodations for options.
  • All interns must sign an Intern Housing Agreement and familiarize themselves with the  Intern Guide to Living.  All Interns will be held accountable for all policies and procedures outlined within the guide and housing reserves the right to terminate housing for failure to abide any said policies and procedures.
  • Resident agrees to comply with all applicable New York City, New York State, and Federal laws.
  • There is no smoking in the residence halls.

Due to complications surrounding credit card limits, before registering please advise your credit card company that a large payment amount will be charged to your bank account.

Organizations

Organizations or companies seeking housing for a group of interns for the summer should submit a group request form. Please be aware of the following requirements when planning an intern group stay with Columbia Housing:
 
  • An intern group must have Commercial General Liability Insurance.
  • A deposit and signed contract are required to secure space.
  • Interns must be no younger than 18 years of age.
  • Conference Housing reserves the right to reassign an assigned space for the purpose of construction, health, management, safety, or emergency.
  • Interns must be currently enrolled at a college or university and accepted at an internship or research institution.
  • Organizations are responsible for providing details on students at least 3 week's before group's arrival. ie.  full names, gender, date of birth, valid email addresses.
  • Due to space, we cannot guarantee that intern groups will be placed in the same suite, room, floor.
  • Resident agrees to comply with all applicable New York City, New York State, and Federal laws.
