How to Cancel

In order to cancel a Summer Housing application or room assignment, you must submit notice to Columbia Housing. You will continue to be charged for occupancy until:

  1. the online Graduating Columbia Senior Cancellation form had been completed,
  2. the premises have been vacated, 
  3. the keys have been returned to the Hartley Hospitality Desk (if applicable), and
  4. you have officially checked out at the Hartley Hospitality Desk. 

Cancellation Fees 2017

A resident cancelling their Summer Housing application after completing their Statement of Intent will incur charges as per the cancellation chart below, in addition to the non-refundable application fee. Failure to Check-In also will result in a cancellation charge.

Graduating Columbia Senior Summer Session 
Cancel Prior to May 1: $100
Cancel between May 2 - May 17: $250
Cancel between May 18 - June 11: $250 + Proration according to date of Check-Out
Cancel between June 12- June 30: No refund
